If Invoking, draw first in noon-sun white-gold the Invoking Active Pentagram of Spirit, followed by the Vibration of the Godname AHIH (pronounced Eheieh), followed by the Sign of Active Portal (Extend the hands in front of you, palms outwards, separate them as if in the act of rending asunder a veil or curtain.)
2b. Then draw the Invoking Pentagram of Air, followed by the Vibration of the Godname YHVH (pronounced Ye-ho-wau), followed by the Sign of 2°=9°.
3a. Turn to the South and draw the Invoking Active Pentagram of Spirit (again, because of its relationship to Fire), with the Vibration of the Godname AHIH, followed by the Sign of Active Portal.

4a. Turn to the West and draw the Invoking Passive Pentagram of Spirit, with the Vibration of the Godname AGLA, followed by the Sign of Passive Portal (bring hands together as if closing up the curtain and let them fall to the side.)
4b. Then draw the Invoking Pentagram of Water, followed by the Vibration of the Godname AL (pronounced El), followed by the Sign of 3°=8°.
5a. Turn to the North and draw the Invoking Passive Pentagram of Spirit, with the Vibration of the Godname AGLA, followed by the Sign of Passive Portal.
5b. Then draw the Invoking Pentagram of Earth, followed by the Vibration of the Godname ADNI (pronounced Adonai), followed by the Sign of 1°=10°.
6. Turn to face the East once again and extend arms in the Sign of the Cross, saying, “Before me, Raphael; Behind me, Gabriel; On my right hand, Michael; On my left hand, Auriel. For about me flames the Pentagram and in the column stands the six-rayed Star.
7. Repeat the Qabalistic Cross.
